The first piece of music in the orchestra's competition is over-inspired, but the conductor works hard on it. The orchestra is given only fifteen minutes to rehearse the piece, and the judges look at how well the players play the parts. The conductor must find all the parts that are wrong with the music. The second violin has been switched to the viola, the oboe to the pizzicato, the arco to the scat, the second violin to the second violist, and so on.
