In this short scene, the young lovers discuss the opera they're about to perform together. The opera is directed by a guy named Tamino, who's 27 years old. He's handsome and charming, but he's also not very good at directing. Tamino's not a good conductor, and the opera doesn't have a great deal of singing in it, so the girls are forced to sing in front of a fake conductor. The girls don't like the fake conductor, but they can't complain about the conductor's replacement, who seems like a nice guy. The two of them have a drink together after the competition, and Tamino tells the girls that he'll be going to an opera in Germany with his friend, kuroki.
