It's morning, and the two of them are sitting on the couch. They've been hanging out all day, and now they're ready to go to work. They talk about the piano, and about the fact that they've both been away from home for a long time. They decide that they need to find a way to live together so that they can get to know one another better. They joke about how far apart they are by train, and then they start to talk about their piano playing, and how they haven't been playing since the beginning of the competition. They also talk about how weird it is that Megumi has been playing the piano since the competition ended, and that she's been acting weird ever since. Finally, they decide to go on a tour of Ohkawa, which is a small town in the west of Japan. Megumi's piano teacher is very strict, and she has skipped her lessons a few times. She's a total idiot, and whenever she hears her play, she likes it even more than if she didn't play at all. They agree that it's time for them to start hanging out more, and they agree that they should all go to the market to buy some new clothes for themselves.
