About This Chapter
Miyoshi calls on Yuko and tells her to come home right away. He wants to know if she thinks her parents will like it that she is growing up so fast. He tells her that he has been looking after her since she was 12, and that now it is his house. He asks her if she wants to play violin, and she says that she has been playing for a long time, but that not everyone has the same passion for music as she does. Miyoshi says that his son has been studying hard lately, but his grades are not good enough for a prestigious school. He says that Miyoshi's daughter, Seiko, has gone abroad to work for a "culture enterprise" , and Miyoshi thinks that she and her friends are already good friends, but Miyoshi points out that sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. He reminds Yuko that he had to bring Seiko to Japan because his uncle misunderstood and thought she was his girlfriend, and that she had to come because he thought her to be his wife. He scolds Yuko for not applying her passions to her company, and asks her to leave.
