In this chapter, the narrator continues his discussion of the weaknesses and strengths of both inferno and dragon users. He mentions that celestial users are unique in that they are able to heal, use diverse fighting methods and even kill their opponents with deadly attacks. He then goes on to explain that although they are not as strong as the strongest inferno users, they are still able to use their unique abilities to their advantage. He also mentions that they will soon be taking a divination test to see if they are prepared for the test. The narrator then turns his attention to the students and asks them to behave while he is gone. He wants to know if they have the proper manners to stand up for a darkmoon. He notices that one of the students, Yuliang, is acting arrogantly on his first day. He asks the students to stay quiet and not to speak in a loud voice. He tells them that even though they are technically classmates, they still belong to the darkmoon family.
