This chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which the three students are talking about the fight that took place between the three of them. The three students argue about whether or not the other students were the ones who committed the crime. The students argue that the murderer was none other than Ming-guo, and that the other two were merely trying to protect Ming from the attack. Ming says that he is the heir of the House of Darkness and that he will kill Ming if he tries to harm him again. Ming tells the students that he did not commit the crime, but that if he did, none of them would have been able to leave the school alive. Ming then tells the others that Ming would have killed all of them if he really was the murderer, and Ming points out that while Ming was fighting with Ming and another student, Ming ran away.
