In this chapter, we learn that the northern palace has fallen in revolt and that the princess has been a tempting target for all forces. The princess has not held any respect for herself, and has favored a man of a commoner family. However, today, he wants to invite her to the southern empire with him. He wants her to have a "broad vision" and finally show her true face. He tells her that she is a despicable bastard who has flaunted too much at the auction. He says that the treasures of the northern empire are right there with them, and that they will not be able to take them if they do not have their own capabilities. He then tells her to kill the two ignorant fools and then skin their corpses and feed them to the demon beasties living in the forest. He explains that he arranged two experts from the ninth heaven among them to make sure everything went according to plan. He asks if they were blind to his greatness, and if they are human or demon, and asks if there are other forces following them.
