In this short scene, we meet Hiroshi and his friend keitaro. Hiroshi is staying at an inn and Hiroshi's friend urashima is also staying at the inn. Coincidentally, this is the day of Christ's birthday, which means that Hiroshi has to work all day. He asks his friend to give him a present, but Hiroshi refuses to tell him what it is. He tells his friend that he likes Hiroshi because he's "stupid, clumsy, three-time ronin" and has "no future" . He also tells Hiroshi that he is his best friend and that he hopes Hiroshi doesn't get "dumped" by another woman. Reluctantly, Hiroshi agrees to give his friend a present. He then asks Hiroshi if he can bring some booze to the party. Unsure of what is going on, he asks his friends to hold Hiroshi down.
