Hiroshi and Harada arrive at the hotel, and Hiroshi offers Harada a room for half the price. Harada accepts, and they eat a special dinner prepared by Hiroshi. Hiroshi tells Harada that he has to stay with Harada because he feels closer to his friend than he did before. He says that they should continue their travel together, and that he will file a missing person's report with the police if they are unable to return to their destinations. He also says that Harada is mentally about 14 years old, and he wonders if she has decided what she is not doing at all.
