In this short scene, Shmoop introduces us to Hiroshi, who has just returned from the beach. He tells us that he's worried about his friend keitaro, who's not doing too well in school. He's also worried about the fact that Hiroshi's hand is still bleeding from his trip to the seashore. He invites us to have lunch with him at the seashore, where Hiroshi and his friends will be able to meet new people. He also tells us about his friendship with Naruse, and how they're taking mock exams together so they can continue to study together. He says he'll be staying with Hiroshi for the night so he can tell everyone about his relationship with ssahara. Hiroshi says that he and sahara are already in love, but if she doesn't like him, she won't flirt with him. She's flustered when she loses her watch, he says, and that's why she's asking him about his feelings for her. He asks her if she likes him too, and she says she does, too, because he isn't manly enough to be with her. She also says that they've been in love for two years now, and it's hard for her to believe that they were alone together.
