The next morning, the two men discuss the previous night's events. They both agree that the fight between the two of them was a waste of time, and that it would have been better if the woman had stayed away. The two men agree that they must change tactics, and they decide that they will no longer let the man's punches land on them. They also agree that if the man continues to fight, they will kill him. The mask says that the man has lost his ability to turn into his true form, and so he has to go through him first. The man says that he is too arrogant to think that his petty tricks will bring him down. He says that such desperate attacks only show his true fear in his heart. This is called instinct, and it is when every little bit of hope is lost that fear kicks in. The demon lord says that his will power has his respect, but that he has fallen into a dark abyss and has been deepened into fear. He will rule the realm for the man from a distant place higher than himself.
