About This Chapter
In this chapter, we find out that the prophecy was fulfilled. The prophecy was that the king would be killed, and that the prince would be left to fend for himself. In other words, the prophecy said that the demon lord would kill the prince. The prince is very angry and wants to know why the king has to be killed. He asks the captain of the god bodyguard's unit if he can stay alive. The captain says that he has encountered the king and that he would have killed the prince if it weren't for the king's order. He tells the captain that he wants to ask the captain for a favor. He wants the captain to stay in the room so that he can talk to the lord about what has happened. He says that the captain should not fall asleep because it must be very hard for him to come all the way to help them. He also says that if the captain fights the prince, it will only hurt civilians. Everyone rushes up to help him, but the captain tells them to hurry up because he is too noisy. He explains that he is looking for the lord to talk to about this. He reminds them that they are all part of the demon tribe and that they have been following him ever since they picked him up from the slums. He adds that he likes the city and the people there, but that he cannot protect everyone. He is worried about the civilians who are still in the area. He hopes this time it will not involve the civilians. He suggests that they split up so that they can make sure they are safe. .
