In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who we learn is a member of the "sunshine realm" , a group of people who live in the "real world" . We learn that this person is the sister of one of the main characters in the previous chapter, Candice, and that she is the daughter of the founder of the sunshine realm. We also learn that the person who is supposed to protect the family from the "hybrids" of the demon tribe is, in fact, the same person who flipped over her car in the first chapter. This new character is an "unregistered ability user" and is therefore considered a "breach of peace" by the Bureau of everything. This means that he will be executed immediately if he is found out to be an ability-user. The new character explains that he is lucky that he has the ability to kill someone, because otherwise his efforts will be wasted.
