About This Chapter
The Brotherhood of Everything asks icarus and moss to talk with the demon realm, but moss is hiding in a cave. He wants them to help him find a way to get rid of his father, who has been killing people all over the place. He doesn't know which side he'll take, but he's glad to live in peace. He's not a religious person either, so he doesn' t know who sent the people to kill him. He wonders why they're bringing him to see his friend, who's going to the "banishment ground" of the "demon realm" . They're making him uncomfortable, he tells them. The demon realm is without sunlight, and everything relies on soul elements to survive. Without knowing that it's a success or a failure, the demon kingdom had to tolerate prince Mishal contacting the soul elements on the sly, which means that they've lost their autonomy. He tells them to stop talking about the aperture pillar, because he still hasn't figured out how to fix it. He says he'd be willing to try, if they could just use him to replace the pillar. He also says that he heard that moss is living in the demon world, and that he still wants his help. He runs off like that.
