The lin beast commander atticus tells the rest of the gang to get out of the way. He's worried that they're going to get eaten up by the dragon and the other beasts. He tells them to come over and help him out if they don't want to stay. He says that the dragon will never harm humans for no reason, and that he's only ordering the clan to capture and send them to the demon world. He also says that battles will inevitably lead to injury, but that the clan will do its best to protect its homeland. The two of them reminisce about the last time they were enemies, when he was the one who attacked him. He was waiting for him, but he didn't show up. So he had to exchange money with him in order to get him to come with him. They're both members of the same surveillance team, which means that they can be used as bodyguards for the god. He asks if the dragon or the other creatures are covered in scaly, and if they want to kill them. They want to make him feel intimidated, he says. He wants to get rid of the creatures as quickly as possible, and says that it's dangerous to go around alone. He hopes that the next time they meet, they'll be enemies.
