In this chapter, we learn that igor has sealed his realm, and that he and his men have come to take revenge on the gods. The two men discuss the possibility of cooperating, but igor insists that there are no "everlasting enemies," only eternal profits in the world. He tells the men that he wishes to rid the gods of their power, but that he doesn't need to go along with them because he knows that he is the new demon lord. He says that a "brat like you" who does not know about war is not qualified to be the new lord of the demon realm. He asks the men to hurry up and help him, but they refuse.
