In this chapter, we learn that Benny's death was caused by his inability to see the monster clearly. This is because he was too weak to fight the monster in the first place. Benny, however, was able to use his spatial ability to catch the monster's eye movements. This ability allowed him to catch a glimpse of the monster, but Benny is unable to see him clearly. He asks his father if he can revive him if his father succeeds in catching the monster.
