They open the door, and the Governess is nervous. She doesn't want to ask for a room, so she accepts a bottle of wine instead. The Governess says she's done what she was asked to do. She's turned off her phone, and has implanted the "bugling app" on her phone so she can't use it to track her movements. She wants to know what's going on, and she wants to hear the answer from her husband's voice. She asks if he's lost his memory, and he says he hasn't. She tells him that she still remembers all of their painful times together
