In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, a young woman who has just returned from a trip to China. The young woman tells us that she has just come from a long trip, and that she is afraid to go back to China because she is worried about her safety. She is also worried about the safety of her family, especially her father, who is still missing. She also worries about her own safety, since she has been separated from her family for so long.
