The piano keys have been returned. Tod has prepared a book of the truth, which he will use to prove that he is the true creator. He asks the piano keys to come into the "death energy" and he will give them to the others. He tells them that he has been inside death and that his death energy will not harm him. He says that he can accept both of their keys and go to the "junction of light and darkness" and accept their keys. He explains that Michael has been worried about death, but that he did not fear death because he was afraid of his own essence. He is a "good brother," he says, and they can start over.
