Back in the present, we find out that tod is getting older and more beautiful, and that his mother looks just like her. We also learn that he's married to a pretty girl named tianming. We learn that she's engaged to a rich guy named tod. Tod wants to apologize to his sister for all the trouble they've had together, but she won't let him. He tells her that he came to congratulate her on her marriage, and he hopes that she doesn't feel guilty about it. He says that being loved is a way to gain courage, and to be loved is to gain confidence. He wishes her a happy life, and says that if he ever has a wedding, he'll just give her his blessing in his heart.
