The angel tells Tod that he has to touch the part of the body that contains the piano key before he can speak. Tod tries to give the key to the angel, but the key has already fallen into the body of the dead woman. The angel asks if Tod will continue to save him, and he replies that he wants to share his life with him. He says that the rest of his life belongs to him.
