Back at the house, Michael tells everyone that he's going to tell them everything, and then he'll go back to his house and tell everyone what's happened. He tells everyone to come back to him and tell him everything. Then he tells the story of how he, Tod, and the little girl were able to escape. He explains that the only way to escape is to get the keys to the creator's house. Tod tells him to use his death energy to take care of Goethe. He also tells her to send death energy back to the green vines and the channel, so that they can use it to get back to their house. He says that he can see that she's coming to help them, and that she may be ambushed on the way. He goes on to say that the angel of death came to the house and said that they were caught. The death energy protected them and allowed them to escape, he says. The angel of light came to save them, but he stayed with Michael inside, so they need to find him.
