The monster wakes up Goethe and tells her that he's going to check on her. He's also going to see if she's doing well. The monster says that he can't sleep because he feels "mixed" . He thinks that his hands are glowing, but they're really just tiny cracks in his body. He wants to know if his heart is broken or not. He asks if there's anything he can do to warm it up. He says that if he warms it up, he'll be able to get it back to him. But if he doesn't, he says, then it's not worth it for him. He grabs his sword and says, "I am, before I met you, using force the pure Grim Reaper tod!" . This is a reference to the fact that when you die, you're going to die with your heart and soul as well. So, the monster says, he wants to help you get rid of both of them. He promises to do it.
