In this chapter, we are introduced to Tod and his friends, who are trying to find out whether or not the new god, xiao fengchao, can treat both angels and the Grim Reapers. Tod, however, is not so sure. He has come to seek out the "angel of happiness" to test his theory that the god can cure both humans and animals.
