In this chapter, we learn that the creator of the piano, who was created by the angel who created it, wishes to be known as the "Angel of Love." He wants to be able to play the piano even if it is not being played on a normal piano. He also wants to know if the "grim reapers" are capable of love. He tells the reaper that if he kills him, the curse of death will be effective. The reaper tells him that he can't really kill him, because love will accompany music. He says that he used to be a friend of "the angel of logic," but now that he has made tod, he cannot forgive him for writing the "disgusting piece of music." He also says that it was he who put all of the reapers in the place where they are supposed to be placed. He asks if he can open the curtains to see what he is writing in the notebook, but the curtains are already drawn. He explains that there is a compartment in a closet that he accidentally created when he was making the piano. There is already a lock on the closet door, and he wants to use it to hide the notebook from the sight of the curtains. He then asks if the angel is a male, and if he is okay.
