The piano keys are missing, and tod is worried that he will not be able to play the piano again. He invites Michael to come and help him. He tells Michael that he and the other angels have formed an alliance with the Grim Reaper to return home. He gives Michael a beautiful piano as a birthday present. He asks if he can eat strawberries, but he is a Grim Reaper and will kill him if he does. The piano is too expensive for him to accept, so he smashes it and uses it as firewood
