This chapter opens with Tot playing the piano. He's worried that he's going to get hurt while playing, so he tells the teacher not to worry, because he'll be fine. He also tells the Governess that she's too late, because she already owns the piano and she'll get it when the reapers get there. The Governess says that she can't kill her, because the piano already belongs to her, and she won't do it again.
