In this chapter, we learn that the scene of "blood lust" has been going on all along in the region of "Jonah" , but that it is actually happening in the world of "hesham" . He tells us that he has never experienced such a situation before, but now he knows what it feels like to be loved by someone and to be killed by them. He calls his grandfather his father, and tells him that he can call him anything he wants. He says that he doesn't understand why he can't stop "the god of mirrors array" from killing people. He explains that he lost the ability to manipulate the soul, mind, and emotion because of Silver's death. To make him feel better, he says, they can try to cleanse all the bad people out of his life, so that they will all be good people. In other words, he tells his grandfather that he still wants to think about his world. He wants to tell him that there is something in his heart that he's always wanted to share with him, and that he had always dreamed of being an actor. He asks if he really wanted to say what he just said, and he says that what he said was actually what he wanted to tell his grandfather. He goes on to say that he wants his grandfather to build a laboratory big enough to hold all of his dogs and cats.
