Now that he's been exiled from the Hall of Gods for plotting a revolution against the gods, the one-armed man explains that he was exiled because he wanted to reform the hall by himself. Back then, he was "hot-blooded" and wanted to "reform the rotting system" of the hall. Now, though, he wants to know why his master insisted on refining souls after he'd tried to do so himself. He's not a fan of anyone who's harmed his master. After all, he says, he'll kill you if you don't cooperate with him. The one-arm man tells us that since he was attacked by the hesham booth in the forest , his cough has gotten worse. He knows that he can't just run away from fate. He needs to get back to the east ASAP.
