The next morning, the monster wakes up to find that his wife and two other villagers have been murdered. He tells his mother that he's on his way back to the village to find the murderer. He asks her to give him some blankets so he can stay warm during the storm. She coughs and says that the man who knocked them out is the Silver-robed Shaman. He says that if he hadn't hit them both, they would be dead now. He's not sure who this man is, but he knows it's a murderer. It turns out that the silver robed Shaman is rumored to be an eccentric and ruthless man. The monster says that he doesn't know if the Silver robed shaman had anything to do with the murders, but that he does know that the two villagers will try to kill him if he wakes up again.
