It's been a while since the last chapter, so we're back in the middle of the action. We're introduced to a new character, who's a little confused by the whole "rebirth" thing. He doesn't really know what to expect, but he does know that the cycle of rebirth isn't going to be as smooth as it used to be. He's worried that he'll waste his powers, so he's offering himself up as a "guarantee" that he won't do anything wrong. He also worries that the villagers will be hostile to him, so they'll need to figure out a way to get the villagers to help him out. They're going to need to disguise themselves tomorrow morning, so that they can go into the village and find out what's going on. The next day, the master himself shows up, and the new guy is psyched to meet him. He wants to know who he is, and he asks if he can change his name. The new guy says he wants to be known as "the master himself" , and that's it. The two of them talk about how they can't let their guard down, and how they're both like the guy who made the curved metal objects. They both want to chase after the bad guys, and they both have a tendency to cause trouble if they don't take care of themselves.
