In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "flap." He is a young man in his mid-20s, who has just returned from a trip to India. He tells us that he is a member of the Ku Klux Klan, which is a hate group, and that he has come to India because he wants to be a part of the organization. He explains that he came to America because he wanted to be part of a group that would fight against the Indian government. He also wants to join the organization because he feels that it is the right thing to do, especially since he is from a minority ethnic group. He says that he feels like he belongs to a group of people who have been wronged by the government, but that he does not want to be one of them. He wants to go to India and join the ranks of the Indian nationalists, but he knows that he will not be able to do so because of his religious beliefs. He feels that he must go to America and fight the government.
