After failing to find Ren and dilma, Ban and the others search the entire world for them. They find a place where they can wait for a sorcerer to come and kill Ren. Ren is furious at the thought of killing his mother. He tells her that he can no longer do it, and that she must have been mentally unstable. Ren says that he will win if he fights her again, but that everything else is lost cause. He thinks that Ren can memorize but cannot remember anything else. He decides to use a different method of going back in time. He imagines that Ren and Dilma were inside the tree and that Ren could not have attacked the tree because it has a supply of mana. He concludes that Ren's family hasn't done anything good in his life.
