In this short scene, Ren tells the gang that they must not get caught and that they should not take his staff. He also tells them that the lady who is staying with them is pregnant and that she is leaving soon. He tells them to pretend that she does not exist and that he will take care of her. He then tells them not to talk to their mother in such a way as to make her think that they are not parents. He says that he can tell them that all of them are parentless and that the woman is staying here because of money. She is leaving and Ren says that she should just pretend to not exist. Ren tells his mother not to do that with her face. She says that Ren is ruining her image. Ren then tells his mom that there is still time for them to meet the person they want. If the twilight dawn catches hold of Ren's hair, they will find out that he is a boy and they will threaten him. Ren says it's not dangerous if the sun gets hold of his hair, because if they knew he was a boy they would already have threatened him. But if they do, he says, they would find out about his gender and he would have been threatened. He asks his mother why she can't do it at such a young age. She tells him that she memorized it at age 5. Ren asks if she is sure about the information Ren will give him. She asks if he is sure, and he says he won't be easy on her if she says otherwise after using ashula and aquila. She then tells Ren that she made a deal with the lady that was supposed to be her boss and that Ren valued her highly. Ren is annoyed
