The next morning, Roxane and Enos discuss the latest news. Enos wonders if the fire was caused by the sleeping Roxane, and Roxane wonders if it could have something to do with Nemo's disappearance. She tells him to watch the news, as it might show up later in the test, and she thanks him for the food. Roxane goes to the cafe, where she laments the fact that they would all have died if it weren't for Enos's presence. She laments that they didn't save as many people as they should have, because of the quality of the corpses. She wonders if they must have been high-ranking government officials back home. She asks Roxane if she has proof that she gave the leafation to Enos, and he says he doesn't know, but he will look into it later. They decide to go back to the city to rest, since everyone is tired. They leave the rest of the group to the adults, and they decide to hold the meeting for August tomorrow since they've written a report on the results of the test.
