In this chapter, Ren and the rest of the gang talk about how they've lost three more dogs, and how they don't think they'll be able to catch up to the others anytime soon. One thing that's interesting to them is that a red haired strand of hair has been infused with mana, which makes it look like it's been transformed into a human being. They're not sure how to make a human-like version of amel, but they know they need a lot of materials to do so, so they figure out that they need to find a place in the city where they can use the mana to create a human. They can use it as food, and it can even be used as a buffer between the humans and the animals. Ren and company are going to have to figure out a way to find the hideout, because they're running out of time.
