In this short scene, Rinehart explains that he and Maria are stronger than the others because they are able to use their staffs to control their mana. He tells the others that they should have been able to defeat the others even if they didn't have their own staffs. He also tells them that if they hadn't had theirs, they would've been dead by now. He explains that Maria was risking being betrayed by him, but that she had no choice because she wanted to live. He then goes on to explain that they won the battle thanks to his staffs, and that he even died once. This is ironic, he says, because he never thought that he would die. He now realizes that he killed the other guy because of him, and he realizes that the other guys must've found out about his death. The other guys split up and tried to use a surprise attack to make up for their defeat. They also tried to find their own hideout, but they couldn't. If they don't find the hideout, their magic won't work. They hope that the fight isn't over yet.
