In this chapter, the monster explains that he didn't expect amel to show up at the end of the previous chapter. He's bummed that he couldn't have watched the whole experiment because he had to talk to Maria about it. He also tells the audience that he's learned a lot about amel, including that she doesn't seem to be able to transform at all. The monster also tells us that he smelled a mana from the ground during the night patrol, and the moment he tried to contact her, she lost consciousness. He wonders if she treated the eagle out of kindness, and he wonders if the mana left behind by the eagle is the same as the one left on the body of aquila. He asks Maria if she's been to a movie, and she says she'd kill him if he visited her during rest. She also tells him that she just wants a little sister, and that she has seen a lot of manga, so she wants to find her. She says that no one has seen her current form, but that she hasn't revealed her transformation to anyone. She's reluctant to reveal her condition to anyone, so they need to find out what's wrong with her before she can transform again.
