This chapter opens with a conversation between the two senior alchemists, chen Qin and Hu Ming. Hu Ming says that the other alchemists should not interfere in the personal matters of the other disciples, since they are alchemists and bloodline mages, and they can not be involved in their personal matters. He says that since this is about his personal grudge, he is grateful that they have come to help him and the other disciple from the Five Countries. The elder alchemist says that he has no interest in the rest of the disciples, and that the grudge between his sect and the liu Xian sect is a personal one. He also says that if anyone from the Wei Dynasty ever dares attack anyone from another country, he wants the elder alchemists to uphold justice and not allow anyone else to be involved. He then asks if he still thinks that chen is afraid to kill all the disciples from the other countries, since everyone has acknowledged that this is his personal. He wants to see who has trouble with him, and he promises to deal with him. He is an elder from the taiy sect, and says that his man broke his arm, and if he does not give him any explanation, he will not let him go easily. He adds that he will reclaim his sect's justice on behalf of shanhe, the sect from which chen injured his disciple. He asks if there is any need to rush, and the elder replies that he believes that this brat is no reckless person, but that he must have reason for doing so. He hopes that the remaining disciples will not have any grudge against him, since he is one of them.
