The narrator tells us that the southern capital has been occupied by the country of China for thousands of years, and that this southern capital is now being used as a staging ground for a major international competition. He also tells the audience that the people of the blade-king sect are coming to take a place in the southern part of the capital. He explains that although the southern city has not yet been completely destroyed by the forces of chi-xiao, it is still being used for this purpose. He says that the entire sect of the gui-xian sect has been annihilated by the force of qi, and only a few people have escaped alive.
