In this short scene, Ren tells the audience that he has never said he wanted to teach Chen Qin a lesson. He asks if he has ever said that he was going to teach the man a lesson, and Ren replies that he is looking forward to the duel between the two of them. He tells Ren that even though the aura of the opponent is not as strong as before, he is confident that he will win the duel. Ren tells him that if he wants to show off his skills, he should not challenge the wrong opponent, but should challenge himself. He says that acting composed is fine if the opponent challenges him, but if he asks for a punch from him, he will let the opponent go. Ren says that the fight is starting just like this, and he is not prepared for it. He thinks that the opponent must have been careless in not giving his all to Ren, and that Ren is much better than the opponent. He then shows Ren the iron shirt defense technique, which he says is much more effective than the normal attacks of a normal man. He claims that if Ren wants to fight him, Ren will have to get through his iron shirt first, and then he will be able to attack him. Ren exclaims that this is impossible, because he has exposed his weak spot.
