The three alchemists discuss whether or not the pills they've refined are actually primordial qi pills, or just ordinary pills. The first one, drama king, says that he hasn't seen anything like this before. The second one, liu, says he's never seen anything so pure as this. The third one, chen, says it's too bad they're blind. The alchemists decide to test the pills themselves, using a needle to extract the powder from the inside of the pill. They're amazed at how pure the powder is, and liu says that this is a "supreme-grade" pill. He's a "rank 2 pill" , and he has refined hundreds of "rank 1 primordial qi" pills. He says this is the first time he has ever seen such a pure product. The three of them are "heaven-level experts," but when they taste the powder, the powder instantly turns into "pure primordial qi." The alchemist says that the pills are so pure that they can't be absorbed naturally, since they are at the "heaven level" . He compares this to how he used to purify "rank 8 pills" : "how ignorant and shallow." The three men decide to announce the results of the exam later, but they still have an hour before it ends.
