This chapter's epigraph is from the opening lines of the play, "How could i lose?" . It's a quote from the play's opening lines, which states that "how could I lose?" and that "chen qin" should be "the one to lose" . In other words, the fight is over, and it's time for the fight to begin again. This time, however, the battle is not over. The fight is still going on, and fen qin has managed to sneak in an attack on chen. He's trying to kill chen, but chen is fighting back, so he's not going to kill him.
