"Live nude girls" is the title of this short scene, which takes place in Los Angeles, California, in June of 1982. It opens with a conversation between Toni, a nude woman, and a man who works as an artist. Toni tells the man that she is unhappy with her job and that her fiance is working extra hours. The man, whom Toni calls "the most special guy" in the universe, tells Toni that he is sorry he did not realize he did it. He tells her that he does not think Toni is pretty and that she should not get into the whole "live nude girl" thing again because she is his friend. He also tells her to come to his house for the weekend so that he can meet her fiance, Jack, who is also a young artist. Jack invites Toni to come along with him and he tells her he is an artist and that he wants to publish a book of his work. She agrees to come with him. She tells him that she will be missing him, and he says that he will treasure this time alone with her. He asks her if she would like to meet him and she says that she would, but that she had been supposed to meet her but she had ditched out of the meeting. She says that it is lonely eating by herself and that it depends on the person you meet. She advises him not to be nervous and to respect that he loves his wife.
