About This Chapter
In this short scene, the narrator laments the fact that his daughter and her "band of morons" have left him in the care of the hospital. He is also upset that he was not told where he was and that his family has been put in danger. He laments that he is the one who has been "screwed" and wishes that he did not have to suffer the consequences of his actions. He tells the narrator that he has always thought that the attack was for a pimple on his face, but now he realizes that it was actually for a wound on his arm. The narrator tells him that he should have stayed away from the girl and that she is trying to keep him from him.
