The narrator introduces himself as summerhiko, a student at a high school in the Saitama prefecture. He tells us that he's from a small town in the mountains, but he has come to a big city school to join a club. He's excited to be a part of something new. He says that he decided to join the club before he started high school because he wanted to do something "new" . The narrator says that the school's ouendan has just welcomed the new students, and that's the first time they've done this in a long time. Summerhiko says that it's not cool that they're doing this at this speed. He also says that since he was captain, the school has lost a lot of its members. He asks why they haven't kept up with the times, and the narrator says he hasn't made much progress in life. He adds that if he were a virgin, he'd cheer the students on by offering them his virginity if the students won a game. He doesn't want to do that, because he thinks it'll make them stick around as virgins. He then asks why he can't just tell Hiroshi off, since she'd be head butted by anyone else if she found out about it. He finally asks if he has the floor mode , which means he can do whatever he wants.
