Hiro wishes he could go to school in the U.S., but he knows he won't be able to do so since he's in love with Hayashida. He wants to know if he can tell who will date him by looking at his palm. Hiro tells him that he doesn't care about premarital sex, and that he'll be fine if he finds something else to do with his life. He also tells Hiro that he needs to stop treating other people as crap, and he says that if he wants to quit the club, he should quit playing soccer with the other guys. He says that he loves her to bits, and wants to show her his love by breaking up with her first. Hiro says that this is his big chance to prove that he can be a good person, and asks him to take him three years to figure it out. Hiro replies that it's his fault that he hasn't been able to prove himself. He feels like he needs friends.
