The chapter opens with a conversation between Hiroshi and Kishida. Hiroshi asks Kishida if she wants to go to Disneyland with him. She says she would, but she doesn't know how to tell her that she's going to disappoint him. He tells her that he'll disappoint her, and she'll hate him for it. He asks her to come with him to the park with him so they can have some food together. She tells him that it's too crowded for them to go on the week-end, so they'll have to wait for the end of the month. He says he's taking her on his first date of his life, and he wants to take her on the first day of his entire life. He's worried that she won't like him, so he tells her to chill out and not act so nervous. He goes on to say that the trip to disneyland will cost 1,100 yen, which is a lot of money for a one-way ticket. He also says that the food will be very expensive. He wants to make his mom hate him, he says, and so he wants her to hate him so he can make her hate him. When he gets to the station, he asks if he can buy an um-brella, but he can't find one. He tries to tell his friend to go home, but his friend refuses to go out of his way for him. Then he tells his friend that he needs to go somewhere where he can get some food. He suggests they go to the subway station, where they can buy some food, and then he can go home.
