Back at school, Suzu tells us that she's been out of town for a few days. She's bummed that she hasn't been able to see her family, but she also knows that everyone has been trying to get her to come back to the school. Suzu is bummed because she can't bring herself to go to the hospital to see the doctor. She tells us about the guy who sat next to her in the hospital and how he never smiled or acted like a normal person. She also says that he was a "short, blond guy" who was "just such a creep" . She doesn't know why he didn't do anything for her, but Suzu thinks he's just being a creep. He tells her to keep up with her training for the upcoming spring practice game, because they're going to lose. He also tells her that the other players are trying to bully him. He's worried about his knee, which is still hurting. He asks Suzu to stop and get some tissues so he can apologize. He then tells her about the other player who got injured in practice and who joined the hospital. He says that the captain is going to drop out of the school and go missing for three years. Everyone has given up trying to find him. She won't listen to him, he tells her. He wants to teach her how to live the way she does without giving a fuck.
